Laura Holtrop Kohl

Laura works as the Public Health Dietitian on Utah Department of Health's  EPICC (Healthy Living through Environment, Policy, and Improved Clinical Care) team  where she focuses her efforts on increasing access to healthy food by improving food environments.  Formerly, Laura was a retail dietitian at Harmons Grocery where she provided nutrition education and healthy recipe development. She completed her Master’s degree in Nutrition at the University of Utah.  Before her time at Harmons, she squeezed in an AmeriCorp VISTA year at Utahns Against Hunger as the Nutrition and Farmer’s Market Coordinator. Outside of work she loves skiing, mountain biking, trail running, and playdough-ing with her toddler.
