Sarah is a Pastry Chef and has been baking in the Wasatch for 7 years.  Originally from California, she moved to Utah to attend Westminster College, majoring in Economics with a minor in Environmental Studies. Working in restaurants to support herself through college eventually led to working as a baker full time, while also studying sustainable agriculture, social justice, and mitigating global climate crisis through localized community action.

When not in the kitchen or thinking of ways to separate from the linear economy, she’s outside with her partner backpacking, skiing, climbing, biking, or finding a comfortable spot to curl up with a good book (some favorites: The Unsettling of America by Wendell Berry, Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, and The Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler).
