Many effective efforts are made to alleviate food insecurity in our communities, and our CEO, Dana Williamson believes it's time to increase efforts to alleviate nutrition insecurity as well. Food rescue programs are popping up across the globe and have the opportunity to get nutritious food that would otherwise end up in landfills to people who need it, and she shares innovative ways to support and fund these programs to feed people in need with healthier options. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
