Brooklyn is a Utah native and attended the University of Utah, earning both a Master of Public
Health (MPH) and B.S. in Health, Society and Policy with a minor in Sociology. Currently, she is a
Senior Associate in Program Management at Chemonics International. Prior to her current
role, Brooklyn was involved in the COVID-19 response efforts at Salt Lake Community College.
Growing up, Brooklyn always knew she wanted to help people and throughout college,
discovered nonprofits were the perfect avenue to do so. She has volunteered with various
nonprofits in the community, specifically those that provide direct, hands-on services to
populations. While in the MPH program, Brooklyn interned for Waste Less Solutions, where she
discovered a passion for improving food security for the most vulnerable populations in Utah.
While not working, Brooklyn can be found spoiling her dog, playing tennis or golf, or in the
kitchen creating innovative and delicious recipes from leftovers.
