Board Member
Mary Rosenbury (she/her/hers) has been working at the University of Utah for 7.5 years. She started her career as a Regional Gift Officer, traveling on behalf of the university and meeting with alumni, donors, and friends of the institution. She then moved to the Corporate and Foundation Relations team, where she collaborated across campus to present OneU proposals to local corporations and family foundations. As the Corporate and Foundation Relations team grew from two members to six, it transitioned to the Principal Gifts Team. Mary is passionate about promoting access to higher education and healthcare and believes universities can help disentangle complex societal problems. As Senior Director of Major Gifts and Corporate Philanthropy, she develops relationships with corporations and major gift prospects to support large-scale initiatives on campus and in the community. Mary collaborates with university partners to devise corporate engagement strategies that integrate corporations into the University of Utah through workforce development, sponsorship, and philanthropy. She also co-chairs the Core Values Committee for University Advancement, sits on the Board of the McCluskey Center for Violence Prevention at the University of Utah, and is a board member of the First Tee Utah chapter. In her free time, Mary enjoys golfing with her husband and friends, traveling the world, and taking her 1-year-old Catahoula/Golden Retriever mix on adventures across the Wasatch Front.
