FOX 13 highlights the work Waste Less Solutions did to divert edible surplus food from the landfill at the "KeHe Natural Foods Expo". This conference has over 700 vendors and rescued over 50,000 pounds of food which was given to local food banks and pantries across several counties in Utah.
The new year is almost here, and at WasteLess, we’re gearing up for an action-packed 2026. But before the ball drops, we’re also taking a moment to reflect on the impact we’ve made together the past year. So far this year, we have rescued over 478,707 pounds of food from reaching the landfill. That’s the equivalent of 398,924 meals served to our community. Our work doesn’t stop there, our goal is to be the go-to solution for food waste in Utah. That means food rescue, but also food waste prevention and education work. Your support helps us ignite a social movement around food waste. As we head towards the end of the year, it’s our last opportunity to ask for donations to keep our work going in 2026 and beyond.
